Experience the Solstice Feast at TARRA, a winter evening of shared dining, bold seasonal flavours, and firelit atmosphere as part of the Nightide Festival celebrations.

TARRA Queenscliff is proud to be part of this year’s Nightide Winter Solstice Festival, joining the celebrations with a one-off dining experience created especially for the longest night of the year.

As Nightide gathers on the edge of winter, TARRA Queenscliff invites you to begin the evening with a feast made for the season. Created in collaboration with Mike Jaques, Executive Chef of TARRA, and Casey Hildebrand, Owner and Head Chef of Wildfire Craft BBQ, this one-off dining experience brings together fire, smoke, sea and slow winter indulgence in a menu shaped to suit the mood of Creatures of the Deep.

Saturday 20 June, 2 pm - 5 pm

Expect oysters, smoked mussels and surf and turf sliders to open, before moving into dishes like kinilaw with lightly cured tuna, burnt pineapple and smoked coconut, then a feast of charred octopus, whole pig head, smoked bone marrow, fried kipflers and more, all closing with smoked chocolate cake, caramel and ice cream.

 This is not just lunch before the festival. It is part of the ritual. A rich, fire-led dining experience that leans into the strange beauty and winter energy of Nightide before the night unfolds outside.
